Slowly but surely, the attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Dance Class is coming into fruition.
This developed after the organizers of the grandioso feat, Dancesport Team Cebu City founders Edward and Eleanor Hayco, met with public and private school teachers and principals and Department of Education officials led by Superintendent Dr. Lorna E. Rances at their home in Beverly Hills.
The attempt is scheduled on June 27 at 1 p.m. at the Cebu City Sports Center Oval. DTCC is raring to break the record currently held by the city of Budapest, Hungary after the event called Életfa-Hosök tornája with Norbert Schobert flocked together 2,289 people last May 23 to break the previous record held by Moscow, Russia with 1, 830 people.
